BACKGROUND INFORMATION:

Dpdsaa was incorporated in 2007 and is registered at Office 5 Hill House Gardens, Stanwick, Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, NN9 6QH as private limited company.

Our charity provides help and support to abandoned and stray animals in particularly developing and maintaining regular neuter and spay programmes that would gradually ease ever increasing suffering and burden to the animal population, combined with encouraging education of the local community.

On occasions we may share your personal information with the following third parties:

We also may need to share your personal information in the following situations:

  • Business Transfers. We may share or transfer your information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business to another company.

We do not process any Special Category Data, we do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age, and we do not collect data from any third parties.

PERSONAL DATA USE

STORAGE LOCATION

Our primary hosting infrastructure is located within the EEA, including servers based in Belgium. Some of our third-party service providers in connection with the website platform may process or store limited personal data outside of the UK/EEA, including in the United States. These providers have appropriate legal safeguards in place in relation to cross-border data transfer including the required legally binding agreements.

STORAGE LIMITATION

We will keep your personal data only for as long as we need it to meet the reasons we collected it, like following legal, tax, or reporting rules. If there’s a complaint or a chance of legal issues, we might keep it longer.

To decide how long to keep your data, we look at things like how much data we have, how sensitive it is, the risk of someone misusing it, and whether we can meet our needs in other ways. We also follow legal and tax rules. In any case, it would be minimum of 6 years for external audit and charity commission purposes.

In some cases, you can ask us to delete your data (see “Your legal rights” below for details).

Sometimes, we may remove personal details from your data so it cannot be linked to you. We might use this anonymous data for research or statistics forever without informing you.

  • a right of access to your data

  • a right to rectify any personal data held by Tuft

  • a right to erase any personal data that Tuft no longer has a legitimate purpose to process

  • a right of access to a machine-readable version of your data, as long as you have provided it or Tuft has observed it via your use of a service. This is legally only applicable to data provided with your consent or under a contract, but we will endeavour to give you a portable version of any of your data should time and technology allow it.

  • a right to stop Tuft from processing any of your data that it does not have a legal or contractual obligation to process

  • a right to prevent any wholly automated decisions involving your data – but rest assured, Tuft does not use wholly automated decision-making techniques
